- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in full cycle Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience handling high volume transactions
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tasks rapidly
- Strong team player with the ability to remain focused and accomplish tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Banking experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with General Ledger (GL) processes
- Match purchase orders with invoices and input invoices into the computer system
- Reconcile processed work by validating entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Assign expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers by examining invoice/expense reports and recording entries
- Manage vendor payments by overseeing, scheduling, and preparing checks
- Resolve discrepancies in purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payments
- Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos and handle stop-payments or purchase order amendments
