DESCRIPTION
The Accounts Payable TEMP position is a temporary position and reports to the Director of Finance. You will perform the basic functions of the AchieveKids accounts payble process, and support with some accounting functions. In addition, this position may assist in weekly and monthly accounting operations.

This position is for a one month contract (with the potential to extend to three months or a permanent hire).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform all assigned Accounts Payable activity
Track billing and collection to support Accounts Receivable
Assist in preparation of various contracts: master contract, Individual Service Agreements (ISA), or others
Assist fullcharge bookkeeper at fiscal yearend, including contact preparation, yearend filing and financial audit preparation

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree preferred, or equivalent experience
57 years of experience in accounting and 35 years of payroll experience
Experience with QuickBooks, ADP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
Ability to plan ahead, multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality to all information and strictly adhere to the confidentiality policy
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary team
Criminal record background clearance
TB clearance
