    EyeSouths affiliate network consists of 30 practices with over 260 doctors providing medical and surgical eye care services at approximately 150 locations including 19 surgery centers throughout Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Illinois.

    Position Summary:

    We are actively recruiting for the Head of Marketing to join our growing team.

    Responsible for managing and directing the overall Marketing effort in a multi-branded environment to drive new patient growth and increase brand awareness.

    Responsibilities:
    • Serves as the strategic marketing driver for all process improvements during the integration phase of new affiliates
    • Effectively strategizes awareness to grow affiliate brands throughout their communities to drive new patient growth
    • Works closely with Posterior and Anterior Division Presidents in developing marketing and business plan for premium services, including internal and external strategies, goals and objectives and marketing budget
    • Exercises discretion and independent judgment in the creation and execution of all marketing plans and activities by ensuring the development, implementation, and reconciliation of comprehensive strategic marketing programs for new and existing affiliates
    • Performs gap analysis for new affiliates to identify strengths and weaknesses in marketing and referral efforts
    • Oversees brand awareness strategies at new affiliates, where applicable
    • Oversees creative development of website content, printed materials, advertisements, and other brand-related projects
    • Develops and executes marketing programs based on best practices
    • Leads consolidation of third-party marketing firms
    • Centralizes marketing efforts across all affiliates and leverages EyeSouth partnership to gain competitive advantages
    • Manages and tracks local marketing requests as they arise from each affiliate
    • Manages social media platforms for all brands and works with digital agencies to execute promotional plans across these channels as they occur
    • Collaborates with each Practice Administrator to provide detailed reporting on the effectiveness of all referral and marketing efforts
    • Coordinates national/regional conferences and speaker events; ensures alignment across the EyeSouth Partners enterprise to coordinate thought leader interactions and deliver a cohesive patient experience
    • Spearheads patient testimonial capture
    • Monitors patient recall system and makes recommendations for improvements
    • Organizes community events and Physician presentations
    • Educates and reaches out to the community, including but not limited to referring optometrists, primary care, and hospitals
    • Makes recommendations for improving patient satisfaction. Monitors patient satisfaction
    • Reviews patient education materials and oversees revisions of existing material or development of new material as needed
    • Contributes to the team effort by completing other tasks/projects as needed
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Marketing or equivalent related working experience required.
    • Experience working within a Private Equity firm preferred.
    • Experience in healthcare industry required, ophthalmology preferred.
    • 5+ years Sales/Marketing or other customer-facing experience.
    • Knowledge of Adobe products (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) preferred.
    • Track record of leading/influencing/developing teams and managing performance.
    • Proven ability to develop productive relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals
    • Strong analytical skills, presentation skills, ability to think creatively and conceptually to execute key strategies and have strong interpersonal skills and executive presence.
    • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
    • Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
    • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
    • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
    • Proven ability to lead and develop a team and drive performance improvement, demonstrated by progressive increases in management responsibility.
    • Team player that develops strong collaborative working relationships with internal partners and can effectively engage and ability to build consensus among cross-functional teams
    • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
