Sikich has a need for a Senior Financial Management Consultant who is interested in gaining experience in financial statement audits.
Job Responsibilities:
Review documents, records, reports, and methods for accuracy and effectiveness.
Provides various financial management functional and systems analyses, reviews, and reports.
Develops recommendations for financial management processes, procedures, and policies.
Prepare acceptable workpapers, write-ups, and memos.
Conduct testing.
Report audit findings to supervisor, manager, or partner and make recommendations for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions.
Draft and submit Prepared by Client (PBC) requests.
Apply commonsense understanding to carry out both written and oral instructions.
Maintain excellent client relations for the firm.
Meet expectations for attendance, punctuality, and company/client deadlines and abide by all company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting
required .
3-5 years of Financial Management experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. federal security clearance required.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experienced providing various financial management functional and systems analyses, reviews, and reports.
The salary offered for this position would be dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary is up to $95,000.
Your Work Hours:
Full-time. Core hours are 9 am - 4 pm.
Your Work Place/Travel:
Travel may be required. You must be able to transport a laptop and working documents to these sites.
