    Responsibilities and Duties:
    The Sales Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure their sales teams reach their gross profit goals.

    The Sales Manager will also be responsible for providing sales leadership to implement the companys sales strategy by leading two teams of sales reps, who are responsible for maintaining customer relationships and driving new business.

    The successful candidate will possess strong experience in sales, sales management and the ability to create and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly and annual gross profit forecasts and plans.

    This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.

    Along with managing two assigned teams and reaching set financial goals, the Sales Manager is responsible for:


    • Developing a strategy to grow two overall territories
    • Overseeing the day to day activities of the teams
    • Creating and assisting with team trainings
    • Managing individual and team activity goals
    • Coordinating with the CRM Administrator to ensure the company CRM system is updated, accurate and reflects all sales opportunities and efforts
    • Providing coaching and professional development of teams
    • Developing & placing members of the teams on performance plans
    • Creating sales strategies and forecasts for the teams
    • Conducting ride alongs with team members
    • Meeting and speaking with actual or potential customers
    • Driving to visit actual or potential customers
    • Participating in customer meetings & helping to close deals
    • Developing & maintaining positive relationships with key manufacturing partners
    • Recruiting and hiring Account Executives
    • Attending management meetings
    • Coordination with Marketing on campaigns and events
    • Maintains relations with Purchasing, Operations & Accounting to assist team members with escalating issues
    • Participates in deal strategy & review

    Reporting:

    • Combine, review, and validate weekly and monthly reports for submission
    • Monitor monthly progress against sales forecast and gross profit targets using a 30/60/90 funnel and forecasting methodology
    • Review A/R reports weekly

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree preferred
    • 5+ years of Technology Sales experience
    • 5 years of sales management experience preferred
    • Able to work out of the company office location
    • Ability to work with and develop all levels of team members
    • Proven track record of quota over-achievement
    • Dynamic presenter with the ability to translate technical thoughts to everyday language
    • Candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal, troubleshooting and customer service skills
    • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects at once
    • Proactive approach to organization and problem solving

    Work Environment:
    Traveling and working at remote locations, causing exposure to outdoor elements as well as a variety of indoor environments. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.
