- You will be responsible for the project management of work related to military construction projects, and coordinates and directs the work of others in the timely execution of project development, design, and construction for all projects assigned.

- You will lead/serve on A-E Slate/Selection Boards and provides recommendations for contract awards.

Description
A Design & Construction Project Manager demonstrates knowledge in managing multiple projects in all areas to include scope, schedule, budget, procurements and project quality. Candidates must exhibit expertise in industry standard Project Management approaches and methodologies for project risk management, change management, and stakeholder management. Experience with Military Construction projects and DoD procurement processes is a benefit to the candidate.
NAVFAC Design & Construction Business Line (DCBL) provides Cradle to Grave (C2G) Project Management on projects types including Administrative, Operational, Medical, Aviation, Housing, and Light Industrial facilities in support of DoD Missions across the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Reserves Branches.
All projects are within the Southwest Area of Responsibility (AOR) across California, Nevada and Arizona and range in value from $5M to >$100M. All PM positions are located in our downtown San Diego, California office. NAVFAC Project Manager (PM) opportunities will offer the employee an unique opportunity to work on exciting, yet challenging, DoD projects. Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
1) Leading project teams with responsibility to coordinate and manage scope, schedule, and budget for design and construction of facilities; 2) Coordinating all phases of facilities design and construction independently within constraints and stakeholder requirements; 3) Facilitating sensitive stakeholder discussions and resolution of complex problem exercising sound judgement; 4) Developing, monitoring, and controlling schedules in coordination with stakeholders requirements and commitments; 5) Tracking and reporting project status using enterprise project management software tools, scheduled reports and briefings, and unscheduled data calls; and 6) Coordinating the development and implementation of project acquisition plans in alignment with enterprise goals, legal constraints and best practices.
