Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to be in charge of specific projects in the San Diego area.

The Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, control and completion of Miscellaneous Metal and Light Structural Steel Scope on new construction projects while remaining aligned with the organization's strategy, commitments, and goals.

• Verify contract scopes, drawings, specs and addendums and work closely with Skyhook team members and General Contractors on moving projects forward from award through detailing, fabrication, and installation
• Identifying, requesting and following up on required information from Architects and Engineers
• Coordinating with other trades, suppliers, and subcontractors as necessary
• Scheduling production delivery of materials and overseeing fabrication and installation schedules
• Lead meetings and set expectations for the project team including Field Superintendent, Foreman and Installers
• Helping to problem solve any Job site challenges
• Pricing and issuing change order requests and negotiating change orders with General Contractors, Construction Managers, or Owners
• Working with accounting on job cost estimates and monthly billing
• Issuing closeout documents
• Developing and maintaining client relationships
• Reports on project progress, offers viable solutions and opportunities as they arise
• Mentoring and helping develop the Project Management team, processes and procedures

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
