    Lending at Valon

    Valon is expanding its mortgage lending operations to offer low-cost, streamlined mortgage loans to Valon homeowners and provide tools to partners for customer retention. As part of the Lending Department, you will help revolutionize the homeowner's loan experience. We are looking for creative individuals to join us in transforming the mortgage industry for the better.

    About this Role

    We are looking for a Producing Sales Manager to provide loan solutions for existing and potential Valon Mortgage customers. This role involves managing a team of Mortgage Loan Officers and maintaining an individual loan pipeline. The ideal candidate should embody a player-coach mentality to drive team success while delivering outstanding results individually.

    Location: Onsite (Phoenix, AZ)

    Responsibilities
    • Lead and support a team of MLOs to achieve production goals.
    • Provide proactive training on procedures and requirements to the team.
    • Review team performance through calls and loan file reviews.
    • Recommend loan solutions to customers within our servicing portfolio and sourced through strategic initiatives.
    • Manage customer pipeline to ensure required pull-through ratios are met.
    • Collect and analyze customer financial documentation as per investor requirements.
    Ideal Background
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Strong knowledge of federal regulations such as RESPA, TILA, ECOA, TRID, CFPB.
    • Comprehensive understanding of underwriting processes and investor requirements.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Minimum Qualifications
    • 7+ years of mortgage originations experience.
    • 5+ years of management experience.
    • 3+ years of consumer direct mortgage experience.
    • Prior experience with relevant technologies (e.g., DU, LP, Encompass, CRMs).
    • Active MLO state licenses in NMLS.
    • Capability to acquire and maintain MLO state licenses throughout employment.
