- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
- Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
- Monitor and analyze customer's usage of our product
- Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
- Liaise between the customer and internal teams
- Provide ongoing communications with customers regarding order progress and delivery status (Start-up initially)
- Assist Accounts Receivable with resolving collections issues, as required
- Receive appropriate approval for any payment terms greater than 30 days
- Ensure no-charge sample orders have been approved by the Regional Managing Director before order is processed
- Answer the phone and direct calls appropriately
- Initiate NCR's (Non-Conformance Reports)
- Perform other duties and handle special projects, as required
- Adhere to ISO 9001 Policies and Procedures
- Minimum of a College Diploma (business related focus), or equivalent experience.
- 2 + years' experience in a customer service-related field
- 2+ Years Sales Experience in a Project Manager capacity or selling to industrial customers
- Sales or business development experience with any of the following highly preferred:
- Industrial, transport, or export packaging services
- Wood crating & pallets
- Foam, corrugated, PE Bags, etc.
- Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing or Inventory Control
- Third Party Packaging and/or Contract Packaging Services
- Proven account management or other relevant experience
