    Company Overview:
    Hillwood Construction Services provides general contracting and construction management services in the United States. The company began in December 2000 as an industrial general contractor focusing on industrial warehouse and distribution facilities.

    Over the years, Hillwood Construction Services has diversified and expanded into many project types, from corporate headquarters to hangars, churches, Class-A office developments, hotels and tenant interiors.


    Position Summary:
    The primary function of the Business Analyst position will be to manage our project management software and systems integrations.
    Assist Accounting and Operations departments with maintaining functionality and integrity of systems.

    They should strategize and provide ideas to improve business operations and meet with company executives and other stakeholders to provide suggestions based on their analysis.

    This detail-oriented individual should have experience with various computer software and should have the ability to work independently on a variety of responsibilities.

    Candidates must be able to communicate with both internal and external customers, as well as subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.


    Responsibilities:


    Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.

    Help design, document, and maintain system processes.
    Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data.

    Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.

    Propose pilot initiatives and manage technical and financial aspects.
    Conduct periodic systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
    Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance.
    Facilitate the integration of technology into business operations with the goal of using technology to improve operations or efficiency.

    Business Process Improvement:
    analysis, design, implementation, and performance measurement.
    Respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
    Assist in managing software implementation projects, data conversions, and team training.
    Participate with other IT staff, and internal customers in new product reviews, tests, and pilots.
    Provide day to day support and troubleshooting of user, application, and integration problems within the business applications.
    Maintain and develop understanding of team members responsibilities to allow for optimal systems integration.
    Provide training and technical support to users and deploy new systems and enhancements.


    Required Skills/Abilities:
    Ability to adapt and quickly learn new software and applications.
    Strong understanding of technology, software implementation, and relational database management systems.
    Collaborative and strong team player that can work effectively across multiple departments (IT, Accounting, Operations, and Leadership).
    Serve as primary company liaison to Corporate IT Department.
    Must have experience with business and accounting software, including JD Edwards and ProCore.
    Ability to work independently and take ownership of a project.


    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's Degree in business (or related field).
    Knowledge of information technologies and systems required.
    General construction and/or financial administrative experience.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
    Experience in data model programming/data visualization tools (Power BI) preferred.
