    Description
    SAIC is seeking an experienced and passionate Scrum Master to join our Modeling and Simulation team.

    The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in facilitating and enabling Agile practices, ensuring the team follows Scrum principles, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities:
    Coach and mentor the development team, product owner, and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum principles.

    Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.

    Remove impediments and foster a productive, collaborative, and self-organizing team environment.

    Help the team maintain a focus on delivering high-quality, value-driven work in each sprint.

    Collaborate with the product owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog.

    Promote and implement Agile best practices, frameworks, and tools within the organization.

    Track and communicate team progress, metrics, and impediments to stakeholders.

    Drive continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and by identifying areas for growth.

    Encourage a culture of openness, transparency, and adaptability.

    Qualifications

    Active TS/SCI with Poly

    Bachelor's degree in a related field with 10 years experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.

    Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.

    Proven experience as a Scrum Master on Agile development teams.

    Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, principles, and frameworks.

    Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to resolve conflicts and guide the team towards consensus.

    Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, etc.).

    Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

    A commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

    Covid Policy:
    SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
