Program Analyst (Production Monitoring Analyst)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated Starting Salary Range for
Program Analyst (Production Monitoring Analyst): Pay commensurate with experience.
Program Analyst (Production Monitoring Analyst) Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct and monitor technical systems, including triaging and communicating problems and issues with little to no supervision, and escalate appropriately when necessary
- Utilize tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics to perform root cause analysis
- Create incident management tickets in IRS Problem Management System (KISAM) and manage problem management tickets to completion
- Collaborate with development teams and other partners to identify root cause and remediation steps
- Provide consistent monitoring during identified production support core hours
- Coordinate with Functional Development Teams (FDTs) to determine necessary support for production problem resolution
- Engage FDTs and product owners when necessary
- Communicate effectively, troubleshoot issues, analyze data, and recommend new dashboards to assist in monitoring
- Understand and work within the entire WebApps system
- Lead incident triage calls when necessary Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned
Program Analyst (Production Monitoring Analyst) Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- An Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain one is required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to examine systems and processes and propose solutions based on data analysis
- 2+ years of related experience
- Technical proficiency in relevant languages and development tools
- Thorough understanding of structured programming principles, system analysis techniques, system design, industrystandard testing principles, and system implementation
- Experience with tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Ops Bridge, and Eclipse Memory Analyzer
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
- Proactive approach to problemsolving and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Prior experience in production monitoring is preferred Must pass preemployment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
