Description
SAIC has an opening for a Launch Program Budget Analyst who possesses a working knowledge of government.

Specific duties include:
Provide program management, budgetary and financial services, and products

Develop and maintain a requirements database by appropriation for engineering projects
Develop current appropriation/fiscal year spend plans including forecasts and execution plan and track and report deviations
Provide support as required for planning, programming, budgeting, and financial oversight for customer requirements
Provide analysis and rationale of obligation and expenditures data as necessary
Review all CFSR and financial data for all contracted projects
Perform launch cost modeling, launch vehicle cost requirements database refinement and maintenance, and launch vehicle "quick reaction" scenarios studies

Qualifications

Specific experience to include:

Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience
Government customer/client experience
2+ years Government budget or related experience
Ideally, 2+ years space launch experience
US Citizen
Must have TS/SCI/polu

Additional Qualifications:

Working knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle requirements
Strong communication and coordination skills necessary
Understanding of handling sensitive information with discretion
Desktop software experience to include spreadsheet, briefing, and database development and reporting
