Description
SAIC has an opening for a Launch Program Budget Analyst who possesses a working knowledge of government.


Specific duties include:
Provide program management, budgetary and financial services, and products

  • Develop and maintain a requirements database by appropriation for engineering projects
  • Develop current appropriation/fiscal year spend plans including forecasts and execution plan and track and report deviations
  • Provide support as required for planning, programming, budgeting, and financial oversight for customer requirements
  • Provide analysis and rationale of obligation and expenditures data as necessary
  • Review all CFSR and financial data for all contracted projects
  • Perform launch cost modeling, launch vehicle cost requirements database refinement and maintenance, and launch vehicle "quick reaction" scenarios studies

Qualifications

Specific experience to include:

  • Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience
  • Government customer/client experience
  • 2+ years Government budget or related experience
  • Ideally, 2+ years space launch experience
  • US Citizen
  • Must have TS/SCI/polu

Additional Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle requirements
  • Strong communication and coordination skills necessary
  • Understanding of handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Desktop software experience to include spreadsheet, briefing, and database development and reporting
