Program Analyst I

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered. Active Top Secret highly desired for quicker agency required background investigation process.
This position supports the Mission Support Facilities Division of the Customs and Border Protection Agency.

Specifically, this Program Analyst role provides direct support to the National Capital Region Facilities PMO Director in the oversight of Facility & Infrastructure Management and Construction, Renovation and Other Associated Project Management duties.


Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for
Program Analyst I: $85,000 to $90,000

Pay commensurate with experience.


Program Analyst I Responsibilities Include:


  • Responds to inquiries, correspondence, and reporting requirements, provide technical assistance preparing for meetings and presentations.
  • Develops program updates, reviews and other program reporting requirements.
  • Attends daily Tasking Meetings at various levels of the organization to ensure downward directed tasks are captured, distributed, and tracked to response closure.
  • Oversees slide updates for various program delivery & daily operational updates.
  • Responds to customer service questions as required.
  • Engages with Director as required to review taskings & other program oversight needs.
  • Updates various systems used for the routing of requirements (SharePoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Assist with taking notes for meetings as needed.
  • Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned.

Program Analyst I Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two to five years' experience serving as an analyst in planning, developing, coordinating, and conducting analyses for operational efficiencies/inefficiencies, programrelated trends, effectiveness in achieving goals, objectives, and milestones.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills, ability to think critically and attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently to assess priorities and coordinate daily requirements.
  • Experience identifying complex cross cutting areas of program requirements and needs to address significant organizational concerns.
  • Experience providing advice and preparing and presenting controversial reports on the program's status to senior management officials.
  • Experience conducting detailed analyses of functions and work processes and presenting recommendations for improvements and corrective action desired.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Possess or be able to obtain/maintain at minimum a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must be proficient in current Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint programs.
  • Must pass preemployment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
  • Familiarity with facility support efforts is preferred.
