    FORVIS is currently seeking a Managing Director on our Capital Advisors team.

    In this position, your primary responsibility will be growing a practice through the execution of investment banking engagements, new business development, and relationship management.

    How you will contribute:
    Managing investment banking transactionsDeal origination and engagement execution for mergers & acquisitions, debt and equity financing, company divestitures, and strategic options analysis engagementsClient/prospect interactions Developing internal and external relationships to source M&A transactions, prepare and deliver client/prospect presentations, working closely with FORVIS partners/managers and initiatives groups in developing client relationships and marketing strategiesMarketing supportPreparing and implementing business development strategies including, participating in corporate finance-related industry conferences and public speaking opportunities, assisting in developing articles, marketing letters, news releases, and other avenues to generate exposure and build the brandTeam buildingContributing to a high-performing national investment banking practice through active coaching, mentoring, and recruiting We are looking for people with Forward Vision and:Significant client interaction and experience, particularly showing the ability to develop strong and influential client relationshipsWillingness and ability to travel when necessary

    Minimum Requirements:
    Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or an MBAThe FINRA Series 79 and 63Extensive prior experience at a market-leading investment banking firm with experience in middle-market transactions, preferably in mergers and acquisitionsExperience in industries such as manufacturing & distribution, food & beverage, technology, business services, and healthcareThorough knowledge of sell-side and buy-side representation, debt/equity/distressed restructurings, deal structuring, and capital raisingPrevious success and proven track record in new business development and closing investment banking transactions (book of business contacts)

    New York City Pay Transparency

    Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets.

    The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position.

    Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.

    FORVIS reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
