Position Overview

What you'll do
-
Crisis Readiness Program Development: Develop, together with all relevant stakeholders, a holistic plan for building Hunter Douglas' crisis readiness. Coordinate the readiness efforts to ensure the plan is implemented effectively across all potential crisis areas.

Playbook Development: Manage and contribute to the creation and ongoing refinement of comprehensive response playbooks for both cyber and broader crisis scenarios.

Training and Awareness: Lead the development and delivery of response training programs at various organizational levels, enhancing the overall crisis awareness and preparedness of the organization.

Incident and Crisis Management: Coordinate post-incident response efforts, including investigation and analysis of both security breaches and other crises, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Develop strategies for minimizing business impact and improving future resilience.

Data Privacy Crisis Management: Develop and implement strategies and protocols to manage crises arising from data privacy breaches, helping to ensure compliance with global data protection regulations and minimize reputational damage.

Emerging Threat Analysis: Stay informed on emerging threats across all areas of potential crisis, including cyber threats, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Use this information to continuously enhance the organization's readiness measures.

Cyber Simulation Exercises: Plan and execute comprehensive simulation exercises to assess the readiness of the Company's Incident Response Team, Crisis Management Team, and Board of Directors in handling cyber incidents effectively.

Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Work together with the Compliance/Legal and Cybersecurity functions to ensure that the organization's practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in all areas of crisis management.

Collaboration with Third-Party Providers: Work closely with third-party providers, including crisis management firms and IR companies, to enhance our organization's preparedness for and response to all types of incidents. Facilitate partnerships that ensure access to specialized expertise and resources necessary for comprehensive defense and rapid resolution.

Who you are
-
Bachelor's degree in law, management, information technology, cybersecurity or computer science (or related fields). Advanced degrees and certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP or CISM, are highly desirable.

Proven experience Deep experience in Cybersecurity along with general incident response within a complex corporate or government organization and technology environments.

Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, incident response protocols, and general crisis management strategies.

Experience with cybersecurity law and regulatory environments, including understanding of mandatory disclosure requirements and compliance obligations.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of crisis management professionals.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
