- Performs sales operations support-related activities, such as entering and monitoring customer returns (RMAs), issuing purchase orders, and partnering with our Distribution Center to focus on continual improvement.
- Receive and process customer return requests (phone, email and web requests.)
- Partner with customer returns team to identify returns that must go back to the supplier.
- Work with back end RMA team on cleaning up quarantined inventory
- Files supplier warranty claims and prepares shipments for warranty return
- Follows through on all entered supplier warranty claims until resolution is reached
- Analyzes data for all returns company wide and reports trends and status to Sales Operations Manager
- Works closely with Sales Team
- Works closely with various geographically diverse sales team members to assist in ability to successfully complete required daily sales responsibilities
- Looks for continuous improvement opportunities in workflow process and task efficiencies to support effective and reliable outcomes for all stakeholders
- 1 - 3 years of experience in warehousing including reverse logistics, inventory control, warehouse operations and supplier-related interactions, preferred
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, preferred
- Thorough knowledge of supplier warranty processes to include: verification, troubleshooting, authorization, claim submission, part returns/reverse logistics.
- Able to read and understand the needs and expectations of all types of customers and stakeholders
- Passion for driving business improvement and leading change in a geographically diverse, global environment
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to make valid conclusions from assessing operational and sales data while avoiding analysis paralysis
- Capable to draft professional and coherent correspondence via e-mail or business letter to various internal and external stakeholders
- Above average verbal communication skills as evidenced by professional and coherent conversations with various internal and external stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS PowerPoint)
- Team-oriented operating style with effective interpersonal skills that allow successful business interactions with individuals of a variety of work styles, personalities, and career levels
