Customer Service Representative

Assist customers with inquiries, and provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service in a professional manner; prior veterinary reception experience highly preferred but not a requirement.


Customer Service Representatives are the face of the clinic as they are the first interaction the client has with us, as well as the patient.

They are responsible for managing the appointment process as well as the financial transactions associated with the patient's treatment.

Once the patient arrives, they play a critical role in managing the client's experience during the time the patient is in our care.


CSR's main responsibilities are to be accurate and cheerful and to maintain a smooth, well-planned, and orderly flow of clients and patients.


REQUIRED DUTIES

  • CSRs must be able to answer questions regarding the proper use of and benefits of veterinary products and services offered.
  • Inform clients of credit policies and any outstanding balances due.
  • Answer questions regarding the status of hospitalized patients as directed by the attending doctor. Respond promptly to customer service requests and provide appropriate solutions;
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers, while following up with them to ensure they are satisfied with the service;
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
