Customer Service Representative, Healthcare Accounts


Valor Global currently has openings for customer service representatives working with medical accounts assisting patients regarding their accounts and billing.

Full-time inbound positions are available.

The position will need to pick up/swap equipment from our office at 13430 N. Black Canyon Hwy #250 Phoenix, AZ 85029, and reliably commute to this location if equipment or internet goes out.


TRAINING SCHEDULE:
Full time Monday-Friday (between the hours of 8a-5p).


PRODUCTION SCHEDULE:
Full time Monday-Friday (between the hours of 6a-5p).


The goal of the Customer Service position is to provide excellent customer service to patients calling in regarding their accounts and billing.

Any healthcare or insurance experience is a plus and would make the duties easier.


Patient satisfaction and providing support and reassurance will be important in the role, as the callers will be inquiring about various different aspects.

It is a fast-paced environment, and knowing your way around our Electronic Medical Record system and being tech savvy always is beneficial.

Call metrics regarding calls answered and efficiency will be measured.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:


  • Healthcare/Medical experience, Healthcare front or back office
  • Experience with Insurance and reading explanation of benefits
  • Call Center experience
  • EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system experience and ability to navigate through multiple systems simultaneously
  • Spanish speaking a plus higher starting pay

SKILLS:


  • Must have active listening skills, friendly voice, and good phone skills with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Analytical with the ability to research data while navigating system, identify potential issues and find best solutions
  • Know when to escalate scenarios to best assist a caller
  • Must have very dependable work habits including meeting attendance/tardiness guidelines

JOB DUTIES:


  • Navigate and accurately document in EMR software system while assisting patient calling
  • Follow all company procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Ability to arrive on time and work assigned schedule
  • Perform other tasks as trained and assigned
  • Maintain HIPPA Compliance at all times
