JOB SUMMARY


Customer Service Reps are responsible for timely and accurate project documentation, communication, and implementation of warranty repairs for residential flooring projects after close of escrow.

Customer Service Reps serve both internal and external customers:

Prioritizing customers' needs first are key to maintaining a positive relationship with builders and trade partners.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES _include the following. Other duties may be assigned._

  • Work closely with trade partners and Service Technicians to set, maintain, and update projectschedules.
  • Generate clear and concise work orders and communicate full scope to Service Technicians,production teams, and trade partners.
  • Interpret work orders received from trade partners and respond accordingly.
  • Approve material procurement to Purchasing teams. Monitor and confirm all material receivedprior to repair date.
  • Prepare for and resolve unexpected circumstances such as product delays and failure, addedscope, scheduling challenges, etc.
  • Communicate technical information, progress, and expectations to builders, customers,production teams, and other trade partners throughout process of repair.
  • Build a strong rapport with customers and trade partners.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES _This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws._ _Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems._

  • Two years of relevant administrative, marketing, or executive level assisting experience.
  • A background in customer service is emphasized
  • Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak clearly
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Products

  • General understanding of computer operations
  • Understand and implement basic math skills
  • Infallible attendance and impeccable work ethic
  • A background in construction and the interior finishes industry (flooring, cabinets, countertops) is beneficial but not required.
