- Aids the sales team in every aspect of fostering and developing solid sales transactions.
- Plans and organizes regular meetings with sales team.
- Builds network and community relationships.
- Monitors/reviews performance of Loan Originators in the branch to achieve production goals.
- Utilizes knowledge, training and experience to solicit and promote the Companys loan products.
- Generates streams of lead flow from all available sources.
- Contacts each new lead, manages the lead with the programs provided, and quickly and accurately provides the information required for the borrower to make a decision.
- Maintains strict compliance with regulations throughout all transactions.
- Completes continuing education and licensing courses.
- Stays up-to-date on changes in market conditions that affect the Companys loan products.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma
- BA - Bachelor of Arts
- At least 3 years of experience mortgage banking or loan processing
- Prior experience working with automated Loan Origination Systems
- Must be able to effectively recruit, train and manage a team of Mortgage Originators
- Must at all times be able to meet any and all applicable qualifications and standards required for Loan Officer Licensure under the SAFE Act. Must remain current on any and all applicable registration, licensing and training obligations required under the SAFE Act and/or any other state, federal or local laws pertaining to Loan Officer Certification or standards
- Knowledge of sales process, tactics and procedures
- Knowledge of compliance requirements
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Current knowledge of mortgage banking, all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards, as well as all company rules, procedures and policies.
