    Job Overview

    MISA Imports is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales & Marketing Support Coordinator for its California based office.

    The qualified candidate will support the California Sales/General Manager and MISA's Director of Trade-Marketing in the West Coast region to help drive revenue for the overall territory.

    This position requires a strong understanding of our products, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, some sales experience, and possess a high level of customer service.

    This candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by facilitating the sales process and managing customer relationships.

    This position requires high level of cross-functional collaboration with other departments such as Logistics, Distribution, Warehouse, Procurement, and our offices outside of California including overseas.


    Typical Duties and Responsibilities:


    Support California field sales team and reduce their administrative burden by providing sales data, market trends, account analysis, product information and marketing collaterals.

    Occasionally administer, verify, submit, monitor and track Sales Orders, Transfer Orders, Purchase Orders as needed.

    Prepare and distribute a variety of sales and inventory reports.

    Promote and facilitate continuous improvement in California Sales Department.

    Identify potential customers through market research, and always be on the lookout for ways to grow MISA's customer base.

    Assist in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

    Production of customer facing offers and reports.

    Document formatting to ensure customer facing materials meet MISA's standards.

    Ensure on time delivery and accuracy of Sales Order entry and Sales Orders.

    Handle and manage sample shipments and storage area.

    Assist in onboarding new Salespeople in California office.

    Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests.


    Maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials when necessary.

    Perform other duties as assigned.


    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public relations, communications, or related field

    3+ years' experience supporting outside sales and/or customer service; distribution sales experience is a plus.


    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

    Data Analysis - Comfortable inputting and interpreting data to draw sensible conclusions.

    Professional written and verbal communication skills.

    Must be comfortable and effective in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    Positive attitude, self-motivated, creative individual.

    An ability to multitask and move fast while paying close attention to detail.

    Information gathering, research and foresight for new opportunities.

    As client liaison, needs to be a problem solver. Answer every phone call and email.

    Professional email and phone etiquette.

    Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus.

    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is a plus.

    Experience in the fine wine and spirits/liquor industry is a plus.

    Additional language proficiency (French, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin, Korean .. etc.) is a plus.
