With 20+ years in UI/UX & Graphic Design, my expertise lies in crafting visually appealing interfaces and easy-to-use experiences. I excel in translating business and marketing messages into captivating and comprehensible visual elements tailored for various marketing mediums and platforms.

From 2012 to 2023, I've proudly contributed to the success of Age of Learning, an innovative education technology company founded in 2007 in Glendale, CA. Since 2020, my focus has centered on UI/UX design and I have actively participated in creating over 60 learning activities/games. Beyond UI/UX, my work at Age of Learning extends into print and digital marketing, where I've played a pivotal role in various projects catering to both the US and China markets, crafting social media ads and designing trade show materials.

As the primary Graphic Designer for the China market, I've been instrumental in elevating ABCmouse.cn into a premier after-school English learning platform in China. Collaborating closely with our China Team, I integrated diverse mediums to enhance ABCmouse.cn’s outreach and influence, ultimately contributing to the successful launch of a partnership between Age of Learning and Tencent, the multinational tech giant from China.

I earned a BA in Art Education in China, during which I gained a strong foundation in Sketching, Painting, Color Theory, Graphic Design, among other artistic skills . Afterward, I taught art for two years in Fuzhou, after which I worked for over four years as a graphic designer and exhibition coordinator at a well-known art gallery in Beijing and Shanghai.

Since my US arrival in 2005, I've volunteered as a graphic and web designer for various local Chinese communities and cultural organizations, and have been serving the San Fernando Valley Chinese Culture Association (SFVCCA.org) since 2014. 

Beyond my professional pursuits, I share a passion for edible gardening with my dear wife, embracing the transformative power of a Whole Food Plant-Based diet and active meditation for a healthy body and a clear mind.
