    Description

    We are seeking a skilled Marketing Coordinator to join a Museum. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with various teams, including marketing, design, and PR, to ensure the successful implementation of campaigns and projects.

    2 MONTHS

    ONSITE IN LA

    $30-35/hr

    Skills Required:

    • Proficiency in content management systems
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics for tracking and analyzing website performance
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite for creating and editing marketing materials
    • Experience in video editing software
    • Familiarity with project management tools like Basecamp

    Responsibilities:

    1. Participate in marketing meetings and effectively relay information to the Director and other team members.
    2. Route photos to appropriate team members and ensure they are used effectively in marketing materials.
    3. Oversee photographers and coordinate photo shoots as needed for marketing campaigns.
    4. Attend press-related events on behalf of the company to build relationships with media outlets and influencers.
    5. Collaborate with graphic design agencies to develop creative assets for marketing campaigns.
    6. Conduct public relations work including drafting press releases, pitching stories to media outlets, and managing media inquiries.
    7. Work on digital project management deliverables, including coordinating design assets, supervising photographers and videographers, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in marketing coordination or a related role.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
    • Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in marketing and digital media.
