    This position is full time, direct hire, 100% onsite in Irvine, CA. First step will be a phone/video screening then in person interview with decision same day Work schedule is flexible, M-F 8AM-5PM paying $27.00-$29.00/hr. D.O.E. Apply today and interview tomorrow

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist who is fluent in Mandarin to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes and procedures, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's payables, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining accurate financial records.

    Duties:

    • Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors who are located overseas and mostly speak Mandarin
    • Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
    • Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
    • Review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
    • Prepare and process weekly check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments
    • Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies
    • Maintain vendor files and update vendor information as needed
    • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
    • Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies or payment issues
    • Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries

    Skills:

    • Minimum 3yrs. experience of accounts payable processes and procedures
    • Must be bilingual, fluent in Mandarin & English with effective communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Software Proficient: MS Office (Word, Excel , Access and Outlook). Advanced working knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks
    • Solid understanding of financial concepts such as debits, credits, and general ledger reconciliation
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data for accuracy and completeness
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Willingness to perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
