OHLA USA, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Irvine, CA.


Responsibilities:


  • Timely payments to subcontractors according to compliance
  • Successfully manages all vendor payment responsibilities: weekly check runs
  • Emergency check request processing
  • Manual checks handling
  • Weekly projections and forecasting
  • Ensure that the accounts payable aging is being monitored
  • Oversee the receiving, processing, verifying, entry of invoices and reconciliation of statements.
  • Oversee new rents/lease agreements and ensure payments are made timely
  • Review the daily/weekly house bill check run
  • Daily import of the positive pay
  • Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and submit relevant requested information.
  • Comparing system reports to balances and verifying entries.
  • Verifying vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolving invoice or payment discrepancies.
  • Issuing stop payments requests and voiding payments.
  • Perform periodic audits of data to ensure compliance
  • Handle department activities such as initiating wires, AvidXchange releases, and check releases to ensure they are completed accurately and timely
  • Adherence to department KPIs
  • Work collaboratively with other colleagues in all regions
  • Communicate with vendors and internal staff in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assist the lead specialists and manager with miscellaneous requests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge of accounts payable and related accounting process is required.
  • Strong computer proficiency


  • Computer Skills

  • Timberline, TimberScan, Create-ACheck, and Manage Engine experience is highly preferred
  • Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Communication Skills ability to communicate with Upper Management and field personnel on various issues, ability to maintain relationships with vendors, ability to communicate issues to Management and peers; effectively communicate A/P operating procedures and processes.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a highvolume environment with aggressive deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; a strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts as a team

Compensation:

The base salary rate being offered for this position is USD $60,000.00 per year to USD $70,000.00 per year.

Please note that the salary range listed is specific to the role listed in California.

Hourly rates may vary for different individuals in the same role based on various factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, and performance.
