Primary Care Physician - Virginia Market

Relocation AvailableLocation: This a fulltime clinic-based position. Candidates will rotate between the 6323 Jahnke Rd, Richmond, VA location and 5620 Brook Rd, Richmond, VA location. There will also be one day a week of skill nursing home and long-term care facility coverage. Mileage will be reimbursed.

Responsible for providing Internal Medicine/Family Practice Services to patients.

How you will make an impact:

Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients.
Educates patients and families on wellness, prevention, and early detection.
Provides referrals based on examination and patient needs.
Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient care programs.
Assists in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients.
Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations.
Completes medical records (EMR) documentation daily.
Covers night calls as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a MD or DO.
Requires current unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia and board eligibility or board certification.
DEA license required.
For CareMore business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Primary care or geriatric experience.
Managed care experience.
