- Assist in the planning and coordination of all aspects of events, including venue selection, budget management, vendor coordination, and logistics.
- Research and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure the best possible options are chosen for each event.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as invitations, brochures, and promotional items.
- Support the Events Coordinator in managing event registrations, RSVPs, and attendee lists.
- Assist in coordinating event logistics, such as room setup, audiovisual equipment, and catering.
- Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, guest assistance, and problem-solving.
- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or related field preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required.
- Prior experience in event planning or related field is a plus, but not required
