    **Job Description and Responsibilities**

    Cybersource is expanding its commercial team in Europe, growing Cybersources footprint in the region and provide merchants & payment providers with the solutions needed to accelerate their business through state of the art payment technology.

    This sales position focuses on the identification and generation of new business opportunities across Europe, selling Cybersources complete portfolio of payment services to strategically important Enterprise level accounts.

    This is a specialist sales role that requires a high degree of commercial acumen, business maturity and self-motivation. A proven track record in sales with qualified success in accretive revenue strategies; including pipeline conversion and enhanced time to revenue. Fluent English and Spanish are a must with a preference for Italian also

    **Responsibilities**

    The role is critical to the development of the Cybersource payment platform in Europe and will be required to execute on the strategy that employs the Visa IDDEA selling methodology to deliver commercial growth to the region. The role will lead executive level discussions with CyberSource prospects and with internal stakeholders. They will be responsible for:

    Effective employment and management of all phases of the sales lifecycle

    Employ defined and established methods for identifying prospective clients

    Participate and where required leadGo-to-Market planning efforts to develop and execute on demand generation, structured sales acceleration programs and activities. This will include close collaboration with regional marketing, product marketing, global sales excellence and sales acceleration teams.

    Employ and leverage Visas sales IDDEA methodology to identify new growth opportunities with prospects

    Sell and deliver multi-year contracts with upsell and cross sell solutions enabling clients to use the CyberSource platform

    Drive business development initiatives in joint collaboration with Visa, providing value to merchants through bundling Visas diverse set of acceptance solutions on top of CyberSource

    Accurately forecast opportunity bookings through the tools provided by Visa (such as Salesforce and MSD)

    Accurately forecast revenue growth through the tools provided by Visa (such as Salesforce and MSD)

    Develop and maintain account plans to report on commercial progress to CyberSource and Visa executives

    Influence sales direction for the regions assigned (verticals, target merchants) and input into product roadmap using market knowledge & quantifiable facts

    Facilitate and lead local pipeline meetings with the relevant local stakeholders, including those at executive level ensuring the markets are kept up to date on where they are against score card measures and how CyberSource are working to close any gap

    Lead virtual teams to drive successful sales

    Cybersource is looking to develop the best commercial team in Europe. The individual in this role will deliver sales excellence as well as a depth of technical and problem-solving skills to deliver solutions that are fundamental to our clients growth.

    Other requirements

    Strong sales financial acumen related to deal structures and value to execution to the merchant ecosystem.

    High level of problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box

    Excitement about the digital payments space and the opportunities it creates for sellers and buyers

    Experience of and good knowledge of working with merchants across Europe

    Experience of managing multiple internal stakeholders to deliver commercial goals

    Ability to drive a collaborative culture with key cross functional stakeholders

    Project management skills

    Strong communication skills

    Ability to travel globally if required

    Must be Fluent in Spanish and English with Italian also as a preference

    Other good to haves

    Experience working with Technology Platform providers (eg SAP, Salesforce, Magento, Oracle Commerce Tools etc) and Acquiring banks

    Experience selling technical products to merchants, acquirers, ISVs, PSPs and or Platforms.

    Experience of managing multiple internal stake holders to deliver commercial goals
