    LIBERTY Dental Plan is hiring Member Services Representatives to serve as the front line in assisting our members.

    Position is open to Remote work, must be located in the state of Florida, Ohio or West Virginia.

    Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

    JOB SUMMARY

    This position expected to provide excellent customer service to all incoming/outgoing callers and answer and document inquiries related to dental benefits, eligibility, provider information, claims, pre-estimates/pre-authorizations, grievance and appeals, fulfillment requests and other miscellaneous inquiries.

    As a Customer Services Rep, you'll be responsible for...
    • Answering 80+ calls per day.
    • Reviewing and responding to all email communications no later than 24 hours from receipt.
    • Conducting outbound calls and/or campaigns when directed.
    • Thoroughly documenting all customer transactions in host system.
    • Maintaining a quality score of 96.5% or greater.
    • Adhering to scheduled shifts to ensure optimal phone coverage.
    • Safeguard and secure all PHI from misuse in strict accordance with LIBERTYs Information Security Policies and Procedures.
    • Follow safety guidelines outlined by LIBERTY Dental Plans Illness and Injury Prevention Program.
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service, call center or healthcare; prior healthcare or dental experience highly preferred
    • Excellent listening skills to appropriately handle calls
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
    • Outstanding customer service skills
    • Knowledge of dental terminology and practices
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
    • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish or Russian a plus
    To ensure Remote associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Remote associates must meet the following criteria:
    • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
    • LIBERTY will provide Remote associates with telephone and computer equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
    • A dedicated space conducive to learning and keeping protected health information (PHI / HIPAA) of our members confidential.
    • Your designated work location must be located away from other household distractions, including but not limited to ensuring that alternate caregiving arrangements are made for dependents or other members in the household.
    LOCATION

    Must be located in the state of Florida. Our employees are distributed in office locations in multiple markets across the United States. We are unable to hire or allow employees to work outside of the United States.

    COMPENSATION

    In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $ $21.00 hourly, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at LIBERTY, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
