- Applicants should have demonstrated strong analytical and paralegal skills.
- Familiarity with legal concepts and procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience with electronic discovery software, Relativity, CaseMap, Trial Director, Power Point, Word and Excel is highly desirable, as are relevant linguistic skills and experience in investigations and complex litigation.
- The applicant should possess the ability to work independently or in a team setting, take initiative, assume high level responsibility, and exercise good judgment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are critical.

Job Description and Duties
Under the general supervision of the Senior Assistant Attorney General, Supervising Deputy Attorney General, or the designated Deputy Attorney General, the Senior Legal Analyst independently performs a wide variety of the most responsible, varied and complex paralegal duties relating to litigation and investigations.
These tasks include, but are not limited to:
analyzing files, facts and documents, summarizing and organizing data and information, using computerized litigation support software, compiling data and gathering information, preparing legal documents, assisting with trial preparation, legal research, handling complaint intake from the public, acting as Case Coordinator for ProLaw, assisting in maintaining section files, logs and statistics and assisting with section administrative matters.
