Description

This is a 12-month limited term position and may be extended to a maximum of 24-months and/or may become permanent based on operational needs.


The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Purchasing, Information Technology Acquisitions, and Grants Bureau provides IT contract services to a large department with many statewide programs.

This position supports the IT Services Contracts Unit with general supervision by the SSM II and assigned Lead (SSM I Specialist); the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for conducting research, compiling data, and analyzing results that will be used to create completed staff work that support IT contracts development.

The AGPA will provide customer services to fellow CDSS programs and outside sources including the vendor community, control agencies, and other governmental agencies.

This work location is very convenient The CDSS is located two blocks from the light rail and public transportation within walking distance to the State Capitol, parks, restaurants, farmer's markets and the Golden 1 Arena.

Our building has easy access to I-5, Highway 50, and Highway 80.
