    Job DescriptionRole OverviewReporting directly into the People Operations Manager, we are seeking a People Operations Coordinator (Part-Time) based in NYC to join our People Team.

    The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR and administrative functions, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both employees and candidates.

    This role involves handling a wide range of responsibilities such as employment verifications, offer letter preparation, resume review, interview coordination, office operations management, and participation in ad hoc HR projects.

    ResponsibilitiesConduct employment verifications and background checks for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulationsCollaborate with the People Team to draft offer letters, wage notices, and other employment agreements associated with onboarding, offboarding, and promotionsReview incoming resumes and applications, passing along resumes that fit the requirements of the role to the hiring managerAssist in coordinating interviews, liaising with hiring managers and candidates to schedule interview times, prepare interview materials, and facilitate a smooth interview processIn partnership with the People Operations Manager, manage the ordering and inventory of office supplies, ensuring that the workplace is adequately equipped for a productive and comfortable environmentProvide administrative support to the People Team, including data entry, maintaining employee records, and generating HR-related reports.

    Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes, suggesting ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the teamParticipate in ad hoc HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, and process improvement effortsUphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee and candidate informationStay up-to-date with HR best practices and industry trends, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skillsQualificationsWhat We're Looking For Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyExceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all HR-related documents and communicationsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, candidates, and external partnersProficiency in using HR software (or the desire to learn), applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Google Suite.

    Expected part-time hours range from 10-20 hours per week in accordance with business need at the discretion of the People Operations Manager.
