    Responsibilities:

    MV Transportation is seeking a 100% On-Site?Recruiter?who works to recruit candidates for the day-to-day operations of a paratransit facility. This position is responsible for ongoing operator recruiting, including activities in job postings, resumes review, qualifications management and employee onboarding.

    The successful candidate is highly organized and motivated; they are technologically adept and must possess proficiency in following and refining processes and procedures to yield efficiency in the recruiting process.?

    Customer service skills are critical; the Recruiter serves as the first line of communication with employee candidates and must represent the company in delivering a welcoming, people-first approach.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for high volume driver positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
    • Conduct behavioral interviews to assess candidates skills, qualifications, and fit for the role and company culture.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions and requirements.
    • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as driving schools, job fairs, and community organizations, to increase candidate pipeline.
    • Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, such as career fairs, networking events, and informational sessions.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
    • Assist in developing and implementing engagement programs for new hires to ensure successful onboarding and retention.
    Qualifications:

    Talent Requirements:

    • Proven experience in high volume recruitment, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
    • Strong knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques and other best practices in recruitment and selection.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities.
    • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment and hiring practices.
    • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software tools.
    • Experience with community engagement and outreach initiatives preferred.
    • SHRM or other HR certifications a plus.
    • Experience with Indeed, LinkedIN, and other Job boards.
    • Experience with Boolean, and Sourcing.
    • Microsoft Office
