    Internship Program Overview:

    Our goal is to provide a meaningful and hands-on summer work experience in a high-growth start-up. This will be a full-time, paid 8-week internship program beginning Monday, June 3rd or June 17th, 2024.

    What does a work environment look like at Vouch?

    This role is expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week in ether our San Francisco or New York City office locations. Vouch has core collaboration hours of (8:30 am-2:30 pm Pacific Time) when most internal meetings are held.

    Role Responsibilities:

    The Business Operations team supports the CEO in addressing the most critical business challenges at Vouch. This hands-on team takes comprehensive ownership of high-visibility projects that significantly impact the broader business. They are also tasked with generating internal, competitive, and market analyses that unveil opportunities to innovate our operational models, processes, and performance management systems.

    This role will develop market research to help shape Vouch's future growth plans. The ideal candidate will develop a research plan, conduct a thorough analysis, and propose an action plan for Vouch to consider pursuing. The candidate should be adept at communicating, engaging, and presenting to senior stakeholders and skilled at reviewing unstructured data to identify insights for the business.

    Job Duties:

    • Research and Analysis: Independently formulate critical questions and analyze extensive datasets from diverse sources to pinpoint high-impact opportunities and glean actionable insights.
    • Competitive Intelligence: Perform market and industry analyses and integrate trends into operational strategies.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Interview and engage with a wide range of stakeholders to better understand the commercial insurance market and propose solutions to industry challenges. Able to prepare and present presentations to a variety of audiences.

    About you:

    • Currently pursuing an MBA or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field
    • Demonstrated interest and keen understanding of the insurance industry landscape
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable growth strategies
    • Prior experience working on a research project

    • 45-minute Zoom interview with the hiring manager and Chief of Staff

    Salary Range:

    The pay for this role is: $45.00 per hour

    Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are part of our total compensation package, which also includes benefits and other perks. We also include stock options in all compensation packages and believe all Vouch employees should have the opportunity to become owners in the company. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, location, and business need. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
