Accounting Manager – You Will:
You will support and oversee the Company's accounting operations.
Oversee the accounting functions and any accounting team members, including participating in the hiring process to expand the team
Accounts Receivables (A/R) - Review and oversee client invoicing, cash receipts, payment applications, and follow-ups on outstanding receivables, cash collections
Accounts Payables (A/P) - Oversee the receipt, review, and processing invoices for payment
Payroll Processing – Prepare payroll through ADP (twice monthly)
Month End Close procedures including performing all balance sheet account reconciliations and credit card statements, vendor accounts and client accounts and preparing a balance sheet and income statement package
Track project costs, job profitability, expense and cost application – charge and apply expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers
Perform analysis on monthly budget-to-actuals, identifying areas to improve profitability

Accounting Manager – You Have (Required):
Prior experience in performing full-cycle accounting duties
Very strong MS Excel skills - pivot tables, large multi-tab spreadsheets and complex Excel formulas
Ability to work in office in Sacramento daily (flexible on start and stop time)
Accounting Manager – You Might Have (Desired, Not Required):
Experience with Deltek Ajera ERP accounting platform
Prior experience working in the A&E industry (ie: environmental consulting, engineering, architecture or related)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
This role is based in Sacramento and is an in-office role.
Compensation $90,000 annual salary, including annual incentive bonus potential.
