Are you an Accounting Manager that is ready for something new and likes the flexibility of working from home? Are you tired of the day-to-day grind that comes with traditional CPA firms? If so, we have an opportunity for you Our client, an extremely fast-growing boutique accounting firm is seeking a Remote Accounting Manager to join their firm who is ready to be a part of a team. Our client works exclusively with service-based small business owners looking for a one-stop solution to handle strategic tax planning and tax preparation, bookkeeping, and business advisory services.

Job Description

Overall management and oversight of client accounting assignments and projects.
Assist in creation and implementation of best practices to standardize accounting processes and procedures.
Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent training, consulting, and expertise.
Supervise the preparation of sales tax filings
Review and present quarterly deliverables to clients; including customized analysis, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting reports.
Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to produce financial reports or statements
Assist in managing, training, and mentoring staff to promote efficiency, stellar work product and advance continual growth in their skills and knowledge base
Delegate and manage firm workflow to assure accurate, complete, and timely preparation of client accounting work

Qualifications

BS degree required, Accounting or Finance major preferred
5+ years of experience in accounting, a combination of public and private experience preferred
Strong Expertise in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
Strong leadership and personnel management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy

Requirements

BS degree required, Accounting or Finance major preferred

Benefits

Working Hours:

You are required to make yourself available during core hours of 10:00am - 4:00pm PST. Outside of these hours, team members have the freedom to manage their time. Fridays are REQUIRED but your time is flexible.

Up to 50 hours during season - no crazy busy seasonal hours

Prefer candidates in PST and MT time zones. Will consider CST time zone.
