    Leading company in NYC IS looking for an experienced Staff Accountant with a specialization in Accounts Receivable to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely collections. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization and collaborate with various teams within the company.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Handle all Accounts Receivable responsibilities, including tracking and collections, setting up new accounts, processing refunds, and reconciling sub-ledgers for closing accuracy, among other items.

    · Generate and send out invoices, statements, and follow-up communications with clients for timely payment. Monitor and track outstanding balances, aging reports, and collections.

    · Direct the Accounts Receivable spotlight, ensuring every client interaction is handled with care, from tracking and collections to refunds and reconciliations.

    · Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards transactions and merchant accounts at least weekly, record and verify deposits and miscellaneous charges, and addresses inquiries from banks.

    · Collaborate with the Accounts Payable and Royalties teams to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of bank transactions.

    · Assist with the annual preparations of 1099's forms.

    · Support the Finance team members in month-end and quarter-end closing processes.

    Essential Skills and Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting and Finance

    · At least four years of relevant experience in full-cycle accounting, demonstrating a solid understanding of accounting practices and principles.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various accounting software packages, showcasing adaptability to financial management tool.

    · Preferred experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or QuickBooks, demonstrating familiarity with modern financial operations tools.

    The position requires 4 days in office ,1 day remote .This is a temp to possible perm .Temp up to $30 per hour based on experience .Please email resume
