- Proven experience in crude oil accounting
- Strong excel knowledge with the ability to use and generate pivot tables and VLOOKUP processes
- Proficiency in Wolfepak (Pak Energy) accounting software; including the revenue billing and first purchaser modules of the system
- Excellent attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication with our customers
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Although this is a remote position, it is preferred that the applicant be located within the greater Houston, Texas area

Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Crude Oil Accountant & Accounting Manager at Troubadour Energy. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the accounting process within the company. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, received daily, from third party trucking groups, strong excel proficiency with the ability to use VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, and strong Wolfepak (PakEnergy) accounting software experience. The ability to run the revenue billing process, produce monthly run statements, handle division orders, prepare and import excel files into the system and maintain the A/R and A/P within Wolfepak is an absolute must. A knowledge of monthly severance tax reporting is also needed.
This is a very unique position with a growing company that needs someone who can wear many hats. The applicant must be willing to adapt and have a can-do attitude for whatever comes your way. You will be working directly with the owners of the business, the dispatch team, and the controller. You will also be closely involved with closing the books monthly to present to management.
