- Responsible for successfully selling IRIS solutions services to Life & Annuities Insurance clients.
- Experience working as a Hunter, obtain and develop new business clients and develop key relationships for locating new opportunities in Life and Annuities Insurance sector.
- Identifying and qualifying business opportunities, presenting presentations to 'C level' executives, preparing formal proposals, leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making process, and overcoming objections to closure.
- Good understanding of building winning value propositions (based on both products and services)
- Strong experienced in solution selling strategies (based on a combination of products and services) through effective cold calling and in-person visits, which foster a consultative relationship and increase business with the clients.
- Own highly developed sales strategy, solution selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase pipeline/ revenue.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement/ win rate.
- Should have met and exceeded Monthly, Quarterly and Annual goals.
- years of IT solution sales experience; at least 5 years of selling in Life & Annuities Insurance sector.
- Very good contacts/ rolodex of CXOs, across Insurance business & IT field.
- Acumen to understand client's business, strategy and regulatory imperatives; subsequently aligns Iris' strategy, solutions and services to add value.
- Good Understanding in new and conventional technologies, best practices and platforms prevalent in Life & Annuities Insurance markets.
- Exposure to product sales (licenses) along with services is desirable.
- People-person with an innate ability to develop relationships at all levels of the client organization
- Ability to perform the role of a "trusted" advisor for clients and IRIS's management and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to make effective technical and business presentations, e.g. budgeting and forecasting.
- Self-motivated and possess strong organizational and interpersonal networking skills.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Post Graduate/Graduate – Preferably MBA with Sales/Marketing.
