    Description

    Position Overview: As a Senior Packaging Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful development and implementation of packaging solutions for our premium products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive packaging innovation, optimize packaging materials, and uphold our commitment to sustainability and quality

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Packaging Innovation: Lead the development of innovative packaging solutions that enhance product appeal, functionality, and sustainability.
    2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Marketing, Procurement, and Quality Assurance teams to align packaging strategies with business objectives.
    3. Project Management: Manage end-to-end packaging development projects, from concept ideation to commercialization, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
    4. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain packaging quality standards, conducting tests and evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and brand expectations.
    5. Supplier Management: Identify and collaborate with external suppliers to source packaging materials, negotiate contracts, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
    6. Sustainability Initiatives: Drive initiatives to improve the environmental impact of packaging materials, such as implementing recyclable or biodegradable packaging solutions.
    7. Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage packaging budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
    8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of packaging specifications, test results, and project milestones. Generate reports and presentations to communicate progress and insights to stakeholders

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
    • 5 years of experience in packaging development within the food or consumer goods industry, with a focus on premium products preferred.
    • Proven track record of leading packaging innovation projects from concept to commercialization.
    • Strong knowledge of packaging materials, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Experience with sustainability initiatives in packaging is highly desirable.
    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a quality-driven mindset.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
