Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Digital Technical Sales Leader aligned to Security brands, you'll be a collaborative technical expert and trusted advisor working with and across your clients, IBM's broader sales teams, and Business Partners.
You'll understand clients' business and technical requirements within the current competitive landscape and, combining this with your knowledge of IBM's product suite, you'll present value-driving solutions that compel clients to invest in us.
A typical day may involve:
Primary Security Expertise:
Being the primary security expert on your team.
Early Sales Technical Support:
Offering technical support from the early sales stages, including demos and workshops.
Collaborative Sales Teamwork:
Collaborating with IBM sales teams and specialists.
Value Proposition Communication:
Highlighting your brand's value compared to competitors.
Digital Platform Trust Building:
Building trust and expertise across digital platforms.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Excellent Presentation Skills
Excellent Communication Skills (both written and verbal)
Possess a Growth Mindset
Demonstrable experience of consultatively selling technology solutions against complex use-cases
High proficiency of using digital sales tools and techniques (e.g. phone, CRM, social media, email etc.)
Exceptional communication skills across written and verbal medians
Strong analytical skills with proven examples of using data to influence, make business decisions and drive commercial outcomes
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Deep and broad knowledge of the Security market, enabling you to consult and advise clients effectively and establish yourself as a credible, trusted advisor.
