    Description

    Account Manager - Capital Equipment

    The Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales of diagnostic capital equipment to hospitals and healthcare systems. This role involves maintaining and expanding sales in an assigned territory, collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager to identify conversion targets, developing growth opportunities, and nurturing relationships with hospitals and physician office laboratories within the geographic territory. As a trusted advisor, the Account Manager will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to target high-priority accounts through compelling product demonstrations and value-based selling.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement territory sales plans to meet quota
    • Establish relationships with key decision makers at hospitals
    • Showcase the value and ROI of the equipment
    • Lead the sales process including negotiation and deal closure
    • Collaborate with internal teams for proposals and implementations

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in medical device sales
    • Demonstrated success in capital equipment sales to hospitals
    • Proficiency in utilizing the Complex Sale Model
    • Familiarity with the hospital procurement process
    • Effective communication of equipment features, benefits, and financial aspects
    • Strong business sense and sales abilities
