    Description

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • In charge of a defined territory with quantitative and qualitative objectives to make our brands successful in this territory
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales position and knowledge of the Beauty Industry
    • Very organized, autonomous, detail oriented and excellent presentation skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Ideal candidate will also speak French (but not mandatory)
    • Ability to travel 60% to 75% of the time

    RESPONSABILITIES:

    SALES MANAGEMENT:

    1. Reach customers sales objectives (sell-in and sell-out) by working closely with the sales coordinators to ensure ordering process is done smoothly
    2. Suggest orders based on visits and stock analysis from customer reports
    3. Send novelties suggested orders before the launch to guarantee launch implementation
    4. Follow-up on stock coverage (objective 0 ruptures)
    5. In charge of collecting payments
    6. Update our sell-out panel monthly (sales & trends) and send it to the brands

    MARKETING:

    1. Improve brand image through qualitative animations and added visibility in store – Negotiate prime backwall space (being mindful not to take space already allocated to any Essence Divisions)
    2. HPP/SPP: Prepare by shipping the elements & negotiating orders prior to the events (working with the BAs and store managers). Send a recap of each animation with quantitative and qualitative results
    3. Events: Prepare and participate in the in-store events (perfume launches & skincare master classes) – this requires travelling on some weekends
    4. Novelties forecasts to be done with the sales director and brand manager
    5. Allocate the POSM for the customers yearly and follow-up on their shipping
    6. Present all the novelties to all the customers to book animations
    7. Suggest spiffs based on stock at POS and A&P allowance
    8. Follow-up on retailer's implementation of social media package sent by marketing

    MERCHANDISING:

    1. Merchandising: Improve brand image at POS (updating visuals & space with current guidelines)
    2. Ensure that the backwalls follow the merchandising guidelines provided by the brand and always travel with a copy to leave in each store
    3. Responsible to provide accurate visuals dimensions to marketing for them to produce them

    TRAINING:

    1. In charge of training all the BAs in the dedicated territory (conference room and on-counter trainings)
    2. Executing the training, following each brand guidelines
    3. Managing the shipping of all the gifts and the production of the decoration
    4. Responsible to send training recaps after each one of them

    MANAGEMENT OF BAs:

    1. Develop and motivate the BC team by communicating with them (via email, whatsapp) and challenging them on sales objectives & achievements monthly.

    BUDGETS & A&P:

    1. With the Sales Director, create the A&P and make sure not to overspend
    2. Full management of travelling and training budget and submitting expenses on time every month
    3. Responsible to provide finance back-ups for every invoice and to enter the invoice properly on Sage

    BUSINESS TRIPS:

    1. Require travelling 3 to 4 times a year to key accounts and at least once a year to all accounts
    2. Prepare the trip calendar in advance and book the trips in advance
    3. Prepare the trip by sending the agenda & going with clear objectives (orders, space, animations, etc)
    4. Take pictures of all the brands during each visit and upload to server in a timely manner
    5. Send a recap after every trip with action plan and follow-up with the customer on its implementation
    6. Required to attend Orlando trade show and seminars

    ESSENCE CORP TEAM:

    1. Work on the synergy with the other divisions and other departments
    2. Improve processes and efficiency by learning best practices from other divisions
