- Manage the sales and proposal process for all lines of business for water, wastewater and reuse projects
- Manage named, national account relationships and develop new customer relationships
- Develop new rep relationships for the municipal and industrial market
- Gather project requirements through field visits and communicate with engineering to develop a conceptual design
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities with a heavy focus on new accounts in the region
- Control the sales process and drive leads to closure to generate new revenues
- Maintain proper pipeline coverage to ensure quota achievement
- Provide regular feedback via CRM and communication with the direct manager
- Present to customers and executive-level prospects in a highly professional manner
- Meet and exceed revenue goals
- Attend industry forums, tradeshows and events as required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, other related field, or equivalent water treatment experience
- Knowledgeable about wastewater treatment
- 5+ years of experience in water treatment sales
- Direct experience in selling to one of our key markets – residential development, food and beverage or municipal
- Experienced in consultative sales with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with a proven ability to work across functional areas.
- Skilled in problem-solving, negotiation, and building rapport with clients and business partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems.
- Able to travel up to 60% and pass pre-employment screenings.
