    Tier4 Technologies serves as a value added reseller of information technology & cybersecurity solutions from an extensive partnership of channel driven vendors, covering commercial and SLED markets.

    Role Description

    • 100% Remote

    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities. Day-to-day tasks will include lead generation, market research, client relationships, and developing business strategies. The Business Development Manager will be at the forefront of expanding our customer reach, crafting strategies that drive growth, and delivering value to our partners and clients alike. This position will operate with a large degree of autonomy.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Secure new clients
    • Proactive identification and outreach to prospective clients
    • Research prospective companies to determine whether they fit our ideal customer profile
    • Drive engaging discussions that create sales opportunities
    • Schedule introductory, discovery, and other value driven meetings
    • Qualify prospects to assess when a prospect is likely ready to enter the sales process
    • Pipeline forecasting and planning
    • Develop and implement growth strategies
    • Maintain a deep understanding of technology vendor partnerships and solutions
    • Attend vendor solution trainings and obtain applicable certifications

    Qualifications

    • Experience in business development and sales (Technology & Cybersecurity)
    • Possess the 3 Qualities of Likable People - Empathy, Reliability, Integrity :
    • Proven track record of success in similar position(s)
    • Strategic, tactical, detail oriented, patient, and highly skilled in negotiation and persuasion
    • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of rejection and criticism
    • Excellent verbal, writing, listening, and presentation skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability and desire to work independently and remotely
    • Highly skilled in managing CRM software (Salesforce)

    The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar position with a technology VAR
