    Description

    As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations. You will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, assist with system upgrades and migrations, and provide training and guidance to end-users.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
    Diagnose and resolve IT problems in a timely and efficient manner, escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
    Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including computers, printers, operating systems, and applications.
    Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations as required to ensure optimal performance and security.
    Set up and configure new user accounts, permissions, and access rights by company policies and procedures.
    Assist with the procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and supplies.
    Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and knowledge-base articles to facilitate self-service and knowledge sharing.
    Provide IT training and orientation to new employees to ensure they can effectively use our systems and tools.
    Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements and enhancements to our IT infrastructure.

    Qualifications:

    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
    Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
    Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
    Familiarity with network protocols, hardware, and troubleshooting techniques.
    Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    Preferred Qualifications:

    IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
    Experience with cloud-based services and platforms (e.g., Office 365, Google Workspace).
    Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
