    Job Title: Event Support - Admissions Event Support Representative (NFWS)

    Grand Canyon Education is seeking an Admissions Event Support Representative (ESR) to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCE's Event Support Services department.

    Purpose within the Organization:

    The purpose of this position is to create the informational packets for all GCU Discover attendees. Admissions ESRs will be responsible for ensuring all documents necessary for check-in are presented and packaged for each attendee prior to arrival. Admissions ESRs will be responsible for completing the following:

    Responsibilities Related to Purpose:

    • Confirm name badge, room key, & meal card are packaged with each GCU Discover packet.
    • Review and update the Discover Roommate List daily.
    • Ensure that all room assignments are accurate and finalized 7 days prior to the start of the event.
    • Inform registered attendees on the expectations and details upon arrival for Discover GCU visit
    • Follow up with attendees after visit to obtain feedback on experience.
    Qualifications:
    • Prior customer service experience preferred, but not required
    • Ability to place outbound calls to registered attendees of Discover Tour
    • Ability to multi-task within various systems to generate packet inserts
    • Ensure name badge, room key, agenda & meal card are packaged with each GCU Discover packet.
    • Submit requests to Accounting and Guest Services to ensure Rooms are reserved 7 days prior to event
    • Send final email requests to Guest Services team for last minute updates/changes

    Education:

    Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
    • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
    • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
    • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
    You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
