Organization/Organization Description


Arizona Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (ADLCC) is the only organization in Arizona whose sole purpose is to elect Democrats to the State House and Senate.


Role:
This role will report to the ADLCC Finance Director. The pay for this role is $50,000- $60,000 per year. This role will support ADLCC's internal finance and fundraising goals and external fundraisers.


The Finance and Operations Assistant will be responsible for the expenditures of the organization including managing payables, staff reimbursements, and tracking invoices and payments.

This individual will need to be willing to learn, dedicated to systems, proactive and communicative with staff and vendors, and pay close attention to detail.


Responsibilities

  • Operations_
  • Submit staff reimbursements to compliance
  • Submit invoices/payables to compliance
  • Submit receipts to compliance and submit payables codes as needed
  • Track and followup on all invoices, payables, reimbursements, etc.
  • Upload receipts & invoices to the staff Google Drive
  • Communicate with compliance firm about check signing reports and any expenditure needs (including wire transfers)
  • Review onboarding checklist & operational procedures with new hires
  • Ensure new hires have all appropriate tools for ADLCC work, including adding to Slack and Signal
  • Write TY notes to donors and send postcards out on a regular basis
  • Finance Prospecting_
  • Prepare call lists in advance for call time, including research of donor giving history, contact information, and other relevant information.
  • Prospect new and existing donors of ADLCC
  • Bring new donors to the monthly prospecting meeting
  • Create call sheets for board members to reach new/lapsed donors
  • Data Management_
  • Maintain accurate cash flow systems in coordination with Finance Director
  • Maintain donor database and update as needed with contact and contribution information
  • Manage reporting processes for Prop 211 and donor notification
  • Event Planning and Management_
  • Responsible for organizing and managing every aspect of events under supervision of Finance Director, including planning budgets, booking venues, liaising with suppliers and clients, managing logistics, and leading postevent plus/deltas
  • Staff all Dem caucus fundraising events as well as Emeritus Caucus events
  • Facilitating biweekly Emeritus Caucus checkin meetings
  • Support list building for invites
