    Description

    Forest Service (FS) seeks an Appian Business Analyst to support the project which provides application development services utilizing low code development platforms, and support for low/no code platforms.

    Work with IT stakeholders to gather feedback and define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the business need.

    Work with IT stakeholders and customers to translate business needs into Appian requirements
    Modify, document, and review business requirements, functional requirements and technical specifications needed for project documents. Execute change control on approved documents.
    Work with Scrum team (developers, Product Owner, tester) and stakeholders to ensure the application build meets business requirements.
    Assumes responsibility for project tasks and ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion.
    Experience translating business needs into Appian requirements
    Experience on an Appian implementation project
    Experience working in an agile environment
    Experience leading requirements gathering workshops or facilitating requirements meetings
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    Understands the Software Development Lifecyle concepts and process
    Bachelor of Science in business analysis, business administration, IT, or any related field
    If candidate doesn't have Bachelor's Degree years of experience is 11 years
    7+ years of relevant project experience


    Travel Requirement :
    ~ S. resident for at least the past three years
